Appalachian Manufactured Stone Inc. was created in January 2006 and uses a Stone Manufacturing Process that has been in use since 1984.  Although we are a new business in the high country we have a tested system and know you’ll find that we are professionals dedicated to customer satisfaction.

Dan Smith president and salesman recently entered this business after over two years of planning.  During this two years he deployed to Iraq as a Company Commander and returned to start Appalachian Manufactured Stone Inc.  He is a graduate of Appalachian State University and lives in Boone.

Since beginning production in mid-March of 2006, several thousand sq.ft. of stone has been sold.

Directions from Boone:
Take HWY 421 toward Wilkesboro and turn left on HWY 221 going toward West Jefferson.  Go 1.9 miles and turn left on Cranberry Springs Rd.  Go 1/10^th of a mile and our shop/showroom is on the left.

Take HWY 221 south toward HWY 421.  Turn right onto Cranberry springs Rd. after you pass the HWY 221 Grocery.  Go 1/10^th of a mile and shop/showroom is on the left.
